Sally Gail York, 51 of Union Grove passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at UAB Hospital after a two year fight with AML. Sally passed away peacefully with her husband Ricky York of 29 years and her lifelong friend Venita Parks at her side. She is survived by her husband: Ricky York, very special friends Venita Parks, Angela Karr, Laurie Ballew, Sonseh Vines and Linda Bibb. Father-In-Law: Richard York Sr., Mother-In-Law: Jackie Shaver, Sister-In-Law: Jennifer Teal, Niece: Kendall Brooke Teal, Nephew: Logan Daniel Teal. And many friends from 1st Franklin Financial and School. All of her Family and Friends were by her side until the end. She was the manager at 1st Franklin Financial for 23 years until she was diagnosed with AML. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AML Leukemia research or to the Leukoma Society
