Mrs. Rebecca Ann Cox age 72 of Guntersville passed away Friday
Dec. 9, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Cox was born on March 21,
1939, in Marshall County to Stanope and Minnie Lou Parks
Wood. She was married
to Kenneth Cox and retired after working at Bob Hembree Buick as a
secretary. Before that she worked in the
Probate Judge's Office for 12 years.
She is survived by Husband of 53 years: Kenneth Cox of
Guntersville; Sons: Mike
(Melanie) Cox of Trussville and Jeff (Christine) Cox of Tullahoma,
TN;
Brothers: Joel Wood of Gadsden, Bobby Wood of Medina, OH and Terry
Wood of
Grant; Grandchildren: Cevannah, Corey, Connor, Caraline, Erica and
Amber
Preceded in death by Parents, 4 Sisters and 4 Brothers
Funeral Service will be Sunday Dec. 11, 2011, at 2 PM at
Guntersville Memorial Chapel
with James Dudley officiating. Burial will be in Taylor
Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat. from 6-8 PM at
Guntersville Memorial Chapel.
